On September 25, 2020, the online webinar «Targeted interviewing and counseling.  Promoting personality development» was held for educators, teachers  and parents.

The event was organized by the Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of NAU.  The initiator of webinar is Professor Natalia Muranova,  Doctor of Pedagogy, the Director of IIET.

The speaker of the webinar is Bohdan Piontkovskyi-Vykhvaten, PhD (Pedagogical Sciences), psychologist-analyst, group psychotherapist, psychologist of the Center for talented pupils and students of IIET NAU.

Interviews and counseling were viewed from an online perspective.  The essence of counseling is to help the child find their own answers to their questions.  During the working process, the rules of teacher communication online were considered.  Recommendations are provided and micro-skills are presented, the teacher can conduct a well-composed career guidance interview based on the decision-making model. The result of the webinar is an awareness of one's own style of counseling, through which the teacher can apply a five-step interview model.

The  Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of NAU wishes the participants of the webinar success in mastering their own style of communication.

The next series of free webinars for pupils will take place on November, 13, 2020 and January,14; March, 17; May, 14, 2021.
