The Centre for talented pupils and students is a structural unit of the Educational and Research Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of the National Aviation University.

 

The objectives of the Centre are: involvement of pupils and students in research, experimental, design and inventive activities in various fields of science, technology, culture and arts held at NAU; joint organization and carrying out of various activities with the participation of pupils, such as research and practice congresses, conferences, motivational training sessions, laboratory practicums, Dni NAUky (Science Days), science festivals, forums, Young Researcher Day, competitions that would facilitate pupils’ research activities, their intellectual, spiritual and creative development, vocational self-determination as well as career development and self-improvement of the teaching personnel.

The Union of Talented Pupils and Students is a creative unit of gifted young people housed in the Educational and Research Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of the National Aviation University for the following purposes: coordination of work with talented pupils and students, its organizational and methodological support; creation of favorable conditions for the development and realization of the pupils’ creative abilities, their involvement in active research activities, participation in research studios, schools at the University base; improving the ratings of NAU entrants.

Dni NAUky (Science Days)

Dni NAUky are education activities aimed to involve talented pupils and students in research activities in various areas of science and technology.

In order to solve the most important problems concerning your future career, you should see everything with your own eyes, hear everything with your own ears, to dive into the atmosphere of new impressions and feelings, to experience excitement and incredible emotions of the university environment. Which is why NAU hospitably invites school students to the Dni Nauky, which are held under the project entitled “Gifted personality” and commissioned by the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Informative science lectures, master-classes, interesting conversations, instructional tours to the Scientific and Technical Library, NAU Museum and Training Hangar are provided for participants in the event. During the Dni Nauky the students will get scientific and educational information on various issues of science and technology in an interesting and user-friendly manner.

Scientific Schools

A scientific school is a creative team of researchers based on a common programme and research style and headed by a scientific leader.

The programmes of the schools include a cycle of interactive lectures, motivational training sessions, scientific master-classes, interesting tours to the Scientific and Technical Library, NAU Museum and Training Hangar. Participation in the schools will foster the career-guidance of pupils, the development of their talents and abilities, successful career choice and their involvement in research.

Research carried out by the Junior Academy of Sciences (JAS)

At the National Aviation University pupils and students can:

  • conduct research in the laboratories of NAU within the research done by member pupils of JAS
  • receive remote advice from researchers and teachers of NAU via the e-learning laboratory
  • obtain scientific information from the Scientific and Technical Library of NAU necessary for member pupils of JAS to carry out research

The teaching staff of the educational and research institutes and faculties of NAU has extensive experience in giving advice and reviewing pupils’ papers within the National competition of papers of member pupils of JAS in the sections: Aerophysics and Space Research”, “Aircraft and Missile Building, Machine Building and Robotics”, “Computer Systems and NetworksandSecurity of Information and Telecommunication Systems, etc.
