The Preparatory Department for Ukrainian Citizens is a structural unit of the Educational and Research Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of the National Aviation University.
The aim of the Preparatory Department consists in organizing and ensuring effective implementation of educational, organizational and methodological assignments of higher education aimed at implementation of the content of education, implementation of specialized training, profound training of young people for entry to higher education institutions of Ukraine, creating an organic link between secondary schools and the University.
Major Objectives:
- Introduction and employment of a flexible system of continuous education for Ukrainian citizens who have complete or basic secondary education and/or are students of secondary education institutions or are studying for a bachelor’s degree.
- Improving conditions for pupils and students to receive appropriate training in fundamental disciplines with some career-guidance elements, to acquire a scientific knowledge system by using the University base and its intellectual potential.
- Improved training of young people for entry to higher education institutions and for going through the External Independent Testing using the University base and its intellectual potential.
- Working with talented pupils and students.
- Training young people using various forms and periods of study and advanced training in some disciplines using original study programmes.
- Promoting the development and implementation of various teaching forms and techniques, their theoretical, methodological, organizational and information support.
- Development and introduction of organizational and methodological activities aimed at educational process improvement, modernization and optimization.
- Monitoring indicators related to the students’ academic performance.
