Within the framework of the IX World Congress Aviation in the XXI Century, two international symposia – Electric Aviation and Autonomous Systems (ISEAS-2020) and Aircraft Technology, MRO and Operations (ISATECH-2020). The symposia are organized by National Aviation University in cooperation with Eskisehir Technical University with the support of the Sustainable Aviation Research Society (SARES).

NAU Rector Volodymyr Isaienko, Rector of Eskisehir Technical University Tuncay Dogeroglu, President of the International Turkish Ukrainian Business Association Burak Pehlivan, Chair of International Symposium on Sustainable Aviation 2020 Abdul Rahim Abu Talib, symposium co-chair Oleksandr Zaporozhets, and symposium founding chair and SARES President Hikmet Karakoc took part in the session’s opening.

In his speech, Volodymyr Isaienko noted that “symposia should be considered as an important platform for discussing the highest priority issues in the aviation industry. One of them is the development and implementation of safe, reliable and accessible air transport with low to zero emissions. I hope that our joint efforts will be used both for the well-being of national aviation systems and for their successful partnership contribution to the development of environmentally friendly aviation in Europe and worldwide.”

During the three-day symposium, leading experts in the aviation industry will consider the issues of electric and unmanned aviation, integration of the existing aviation system with the existing systems of urban air mobility, as well as introduction of alternative fuels in the aviation sector.
