NAU signs agreements on cooperation in training aviation professionals

Rector Volodymyr Isaienko has signed Cooperation Agreements with the heads of the Ukrainian representative offices of ALL4JETS (Warsaw, Poland) Alevtina Fursayeva and TRITECH LTD (Riga, Latvia) –Kostiantyn Maliutin, operating by EASA Part-147 standards.

The signing followed a working meeting held last week at the University premises, namely at the Aerospace Faculty’s “Aviation Technical Base” Training Center and the Antonov NAU State Aviation Museum.

Within the framework of future cooperation, the parties will join efforts in the field of teaching, practical training, and further employment of students and trainees in aeronautical and engineering specialties in aircraft and componets’ maintenance, by providing consulting services on international training standards (EASA and ICAO), as well as organization and implementation of additional training and testing required.

The agreements provide for the harmonization of curriculum standards for basic student training with the EASA requirements and standards, which will allow some academic courses to be recognized as basic training modules that are in line with EASA requirements. This will simplify training and reduce its time for aircraft maintenance personnel of A1, B1.1, and B2 categories.
