NAU signs deal with HUAWEI Ukraine

National Aviation University and Huawei UKRAINE have signed an agreement to open the Huawei-authorized Academy of Information and Network Technologies.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Artur Gudmanian has stressed that cooperation with Huawei UKRAINE opens new horizons of opportunities and prospects for the University. “Among the prospects of our University is NAU development as a national center for strategic research of global innovation challenges, which will contribute to the development of the aerospace industry. So we are always open to proposals in the field of educational projects and joint research,” he said.

The vice-rector invited distinguished guests to participate in the IX World Congress “Aviation in the XXI Century. Aviation Security and Space Technology”, which NAU will host on September 22-24.

Din Ning, Deputy Director for Supply and Service at Huawei Ukraine, said: “We appreciate our cooperation with National Aviation University. The opening of the NABU-based Academy of Information and Network Technologies will provide students with new opportunities for training, business consulting, and development of ideas for designing communication networks. Huawei Ukraine promotes business collaboration with research and education to bring together all types of research resources and talents on the path to innovation.”

Din Ning noted that the Academy’s program helps prepare future university graduates to work in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) in public and private economy sectors. Participants in the program will gain knowledge and skills that will be useful for continuing education and obtaining other technical specialties, starting a career in ICT, in particular in Huawei Ukraine and partner companies.

Until September 15, 2020, applications will be accepted of those willing to qualify for participation in the international educational program “Seeds for the Future 2020” by Huawei UKRAINE. In 2020, the company runs the program online and for the first time provides the opportunity to join the program to students, 2020 graduates in technical and non-technical specialties with high performance results and a desire to work in the field of information and communication technologies.

Participants who will qualify will learn about industry trends, features of 4G and 5G technologies, the Internet of Things, cloud solutions, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and more.
