On December 13, 2019 the round table “Some Peculiarities of Preparation for the 2020 External Independent Testing” was held at the Educational and Research Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies at which novelties in the organization of the External Independent Testing as well as problems of the quality of preparation for execution of the tests were discussed. A presentation on the subject of the event was given to the participants.

The Directorate of the Institute, the teaching staff of the Department of Fundamental and Special Disciplines, the staff of the Centre for Talented Children, of the Pre-Professional Training Centre and of the Laboratory of Distance Learning Electronic Tools took part in the discussion of this topical subject.

The event was opened by the Director of the Institute prof. Natalia Muranova, who outlined such points as the period of the main session (25.06 ‑ 17.07.2020), the External Independent Testing schedule (21.05 – 15.06.2020), the number of the External Independent Testing subjects allowed for a person (no more than 4), relevant programmes approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The participants of the round table discussed all the novelties and peculiarities of the 2020 External Independent Testing and State Final Examination as well as the requirements for the entrants’ preparation level in a certain school subject.
