In late May 2019, the teachers of the Department of Fundamental and Special Disciplines of the Educational and Research Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies have performed a number of career guidance activities for seniors of the following Kyiv schools: №№ 247, 248, 249, 250, 251, 259, 264, 270, 275 and 277 (Desnianskyi District); №№ 8, 9, 16, 29, 157, 210, 216, 232  and 285 (Obolonskyi District); №№ 6, 66, 126, 296 (Dniprovskyi District); № 151 (Holosiivskyi District) as well as schools №№ 2 and 7 of Brovary, Kyiv Region. The events have been attended by more than 500 pupils of the 10^th form. Educational lectures and informative presentations have attracted a lot of attention among the pupils, who showed great interest in the peculiarities of the preparation for the External Independent Testing at the University, in the specialties and professional training programmes, in training in the military department, in the English language training project, and in how students spend their leisure time. School leavers – 2020 were invited to take part in the educational and career guidance projects “Summer School” and “Trial External Independent Testing”, which are to be held at the University on June, 6-14.
