On December 16, 2020, employees of the laboratory of electronic distance learning tools of the Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of NAU held the webinar "Creating a course in Moodle" to improve the skills of research and teaching staff and ensure the quality of distance learning education.

The webinar covered the creation, formatting and content of the course on the Moodle platform.  The process of creating the "Task" activity, its verification and grading were discussed in details.  Special attention was also paid to testing. Participants were shown the process of adding different types of questions to the test.

The main information block of the webinar was the use of BigBlueButton, which allows you to create a video conference right in the course of Moodle, which can become a full-fledged online class.  The main advantages of BigBlueButton are the ability to appoint multiple moderators (organizers) of the conference, joint notes for participants, which can be downloaded as a text file, download the names of participants attached to the videoconference, instant online polls and embed presentation in a virtual board.

During the webinar there was an active chat, and after the report detailed answers were given to all the questions of the participants.
