On November 13, 2020, an online webinar «Own compass of career guidance. The formula for choosing a profession» was held for schoolchildren.

The event was organized by the Institute of Innovative Educational Technologies of NAU.  The initiator of webinar was Professor Natalia Muranova, Doctor of Pedagogy, the Director of IIET.

The speaker of the webinar is Bohdan Piontkovskyi-Vykhvaten, PhD (Pedagogical Sciences), psychologist-analyst, group psychotherapist, psychologist of the Center for talented pupils and students of IIET NAU.

The main indicators of readiness to choose a profession were considered during the webinar. It was noted that the indicator of awareness determines the behavior that is aimed at mastering the future field of activity.  The emotional component of a successful choice of profession is a link that allows  more purposefully to overcome the difficulties that arise in the process of mastering the profession, to achieve goals, to enjoy achieving positive results.  The historical aspect of outstanding people, their characteristics and qualities, typological psychological features in the outlook of the possibility of self-determination of the youth were also presented.
